Windsor Street

This alteration and addition to a paddington terrace in Windsor Street focuses on a minor above ground rear addition with a new lower ground addition to the rear of an existing garage and below the existing kitchen and living area.

The key challanges to this project was the coordination with the engineers on how to do the structure for the excavation and drainage for the lower level.

We had an aim to make the house more light filled than we started, so we also proposed a number of skylight as well as glass floors in select locations as to ensure that all spaces had a connection to the outside, in particular the new home office in the basement, that would have a number of skylights to improve it’s outlook.

The project has been approved, and the house has been sold to new owners for them to undertake the works.
