This project is for rear addition to an existing paddington terrace and a new garage with a studio loft to be added to the rear of the property, to be situated on Albert Street. The intent was to retain the existing facade on William Street, this was due to the Heritage Conservation Area that the projects sits within.

The works to the main house involved upgrading the existing kitchen/ laundry and bathroom facilities through a boundary to boundary extension on the ground floor. Then across the backyard we are creating a new garage with a studio above that is designed to wrap around the existing tree that is to be retained, as a key design element as it provides shade and amenity to the backyard area.

A version of these plans has been approved through the Land and Enviroment Court Process. We retained many of these feature and the property has now been sold to a new owner to undertake the works.
